Yosemite National Park has announced that Big Oak Flat Road (continuation of Highway 120 west into Yosemite) is closed from just inside the park boundary to Merced Grove, due to a crack in the roadway that prevents safe transit along this section of Highway 120. Due to the Mariposa Butterfly Festival which takes place Saturday, May 6th, 2023, the Midtown Mariposa bus stop will be inaccessible from 10 AM – 11 AM. Those wishing to ride YARTS during this time period should utilize the Midtown Mariposa bus stop.

Yosemite National Park has partially reopened with limited services and access. YARTS has resumed normal operations, making all stops except for Curry Village, which remains closed until further notice.

YARTS has been notified that Highway 140 is closed near Midpines Post Office due to mudslides on the highway. YARTS will make all scheduled stops along Highway 140 from Merced to Midpines County Park & Ride, until further notice.
