YARTS PROPOSED FARE INCREASES – EFFECTIVE JANUARY 2019

Notice is hereby given that the YOSEMITE AREA REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (YARTS) JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY intends to increase round-trip fares on all service corridors, excluding Hwy 41, effective January 1, 2019, and to be increased annually every January 1, through 2023. Proposed fare increase are availble by following the link below.

Public comment must be received by September 21, 2018.

A public hearing on this increase will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1 :00 p.m., or as soon there­ after as possible at the Mariposa County Government Center, 5100 Bullion Street, Mariposa, CA with video conference available at Merced County Association of Governments, 369 W. 18th Street, Front Conference   Room,·  Merced, CA; Sierra Center Mall, Board of Supervisors Conference Room, Third Floor, 452 Old Mammoth ·Road, Mam­moth Lakes, CA. Interested persons may be present at the public hearing to hear comments and discussion on the proposed increase.
